LIBERATION OF THE VOICE
A discovery voyage to find your unique voice,
that tells and sings about who you were, are and will be.
Liberation of the Voice
Do you enjoy hearing yourself sing or speak? Do you sometimes struggle to connect with your natural voice? Perhaps you long to sing freely, to let yourself be heard, or simply to express yourself without holding back.
Many of us have learned to judge our own voices. We worry about how we sound, what others might think, or whether we are singing the right way. Imagine what might happen if you allowed yourself to be heard, just as you are.
We often learn to sing from the outside in: trying to sound good, meet expectations and gain approval. But there is another way — singing from the inside out. Instead of striving for a particular result, you let the sounds emerge from what you genuinely feel. You sing because something within you wants to be expressed.
Throughout our lives, we may have learned to keep quiet, hide our feelings or hold back parts of ourselves. These experiences can influence the way we use our voices. Through free vocal expression, we can begin to explore what we have been holding inside and give it space to be heard.
Let Your Inner World Find Its Voice
Each of us has a unique voice that reflects something of who we are. Our sound can be joyful, hesitant, sad, playful, powerful or tender. It changes with our feelings and with the moment we are living in.
In Voice Liberation, there is no right or wrong sound. Your voice does not have to be beautiful by anyone else's standards. It only needs to be yours.
We use sounds, words, melodies and spontaneous singing to explore what is happening within you. You are invited to listen to your body, become curious about your emotions and give expression to what may otherwise remain unspoken. Sometimes this means singing softly; sometimes it means making a sound you have never allowed yourself to make before.
Your voice is a deeply personal instrument. As you explore it, you may discover habitual patterns, fears, emotions or beliefs that influence how freely you express yourself. Giving these experiences a voice can create space for greater awareness, self-acceptance and freedom.
Voice Liberation is ultimately about giving yourself permission to be here — to feel, to express, to be vulnerable and to take up space without constantly judging yourself.
Singing as a Path to Yourself
What we feel when we sing is often connected to what is happening in our lives. When we allow ourselves to listen inwardly, singing can become much more than a musical exercise. It can be a way of meeting ourselves with honesty and compassion.
Rather than focusing only on technique, scales or getting the notes right, we explore the relationship between voice, body, breath and emotion. Gradually, you can begin to embrace all the different parts of yourself: the joy and sorrow, the confidence and uncertainty, the beauty and the imperfections you believe you have.
We guide you gently through this process, creating space for exploration without pressure or judgement. Together, we discover what happens when you allow your voice to emerge from an open and attentive place.
This exploration can also continue beyond the singing sessions. As you become more aware of your voice, you may begin to notice how you communicate in everyday life: where you speak freely, where you hold back, and what you need in order to express yourself more honestly.
Your voice is yours to discover. Every sound, including the ones you might once have judged as mistakes, belongs to your unique life song. Voice Liberation invites you to embrace that song with greater acceptance, courage and love for who you are, here and now.
Individual sessions
If you would like to explore your voice in a more personal and in-depth way, you are welcome to contact us for an individual Voice Liberation session.
We begin with a conversation to understand where you are, what you would like to explore and what kind of guidance would be most supportive. From there, we work intuitively with your voice, breath, sounds and spontaneous singing. You will also receive simple exercises to continue exploring at home.
The aim is not to teach you how you should sound, but to help you discover a more natural and authentic relationship with your own voice — so that singing can gradually become a more familiar and joyful part of your life.

Groupsessions
Voice Liberation is also woven into many of our group sessions and concerts. Singing together can be a joyful way to let go of self-consciousness, experience connection and discover the freedom of expressing yourself in the presence of others.
You might enjoy exploring your voice during one of our cacao ceremonies, where music, movement and spontaneous singing invite you to connect with yourself and the group.
You can also join an Icaro session, where we enter a ceremonial setting inspired by the shamanic singing traditions of the Peruvian Amazon. Through traditional spirit songs, vocal exploration and shared singing, we create space to deepen our relationship with sound, intention and the experience of singing together.
Whether you choose an individual session or a group experience, you are welcome to begin exactly where you are. You don't need a trained voice or any previous singing experience — only a willingness to listen, explore and give yourself permission to make a sound.
